Girls Goals is just the beginning!

The Girls Goals program is designed as an introduction to soccer — building confidence, movement skills, and a supportive peer group.

With support from the Every Kid Can Play grant, we are able to offer this program free of charge. 

Once participants feel ready, families may transition into a long-term soccer experience through EMFC’s Recreational Program, or for players seeking further challenge to our CMSA City League program.

Both options are supported by female mentors and financial assistance programs to ensure access for all.

 

 

 

Girls Goals is Step 1 ...  Try soccer with no pressure and no cost.

The emphasis will be upon play and engagement.  We hope that as players learn and enjoy the game, they may register for an EMFC Recreational program or one our Competitive programs. 

New and existing players will be supported by our female coaching staff, as they introduce skill and technical development that can be used in games.

For now, come and join us to play the beautiful game.

   

If your daughter enjoys it, she can choose one of two next steps to explore the game:

✔ EMFC Recreational Program (most common next step)

• Great for learning, having fun, and staying active locally
• Available year-round (Indoor & Outdoor seasons)
• Financial support available where needed
• Ideal for players who want fun, development, and flexibility

✔ CMSA City League (for players seeking more challenge)

• Travel to games within Calgary
• Higher-level coaching and training
• Competitive schedule
• Ideal for motivated players who show interest in more soccer

LOCATION: EMFC Development Centre, #5 640 28 St NE, Calgary AB T2A 6R3

Dates:   

• Fridays
• January 9, 16, 23, 30 February 6, 13, 20 & 27.

Times:

Girls aged 7 - 10 will be on Fridays from  6:00 - 7:00 pm

Girls aged 11 - 14 will be on Fridays from  7:00 - 8:00 pm
